Hokitika's Top Places to visit

  1. Hey there Greta, thanks for completing another activity. It's awesome to see you've been working hard today.

I really like this slideshow you have put together. I am from Auckland and have never been to Hokitika but after checking out these activities and reading your descriptions, I think I would really like to visit some time.

I like how you've also added multiple photos to accompany the descriptions. The Wild Foods Festival sounds interesting. It's funny how you said it's 'disgusting'. What makes it disgusting? I am really intrigued.

    Thanks, great blog post!

    Billy

  2. Hi Greta

My name is Allie and I am the cluster manager for the Summer Learning Journey in the Toki Pounamu area.
You are doing a fantastic job making your way through the programme and I am really enjoying reading your posts.

We are very lucky to live on the West Coast. I think we live in the most beautiful part of the country.

Hokitika has a lot of really cool things for people to do which includes going out to the gorge especially on a lovely day. The tree top walkway as well as Lake Kaniere too.
Being apart of the Wildfoods festival is huge in Hokitika and it brings thousands of people to the town.
I especially liked the Christmas lights that were in Hokitika this year, I thought they are just amazing.

Well done Greta, keep on blogging. I look forward to meeting you when I come to visit Kaniere School in February.

    Until then

    Allie :)
